The Senior QA Analyst / Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing the Web Application Testing framework, as well as leading and performing testing to ensure proper functionality. This role is a great fit for someone who has prior QA experience in Web Application Testing, and wants to join a small, exciting and entrepreneurial team where he/she would have the opportunity to help build and define the QA framework.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar.
- 2-5 years of SQA experience as a QA Analyst, QA Engineer or similar
- Unit Testing, Load Testing, System Testing and Regression Testing of Web-based products.
- Experience writing test scripts, keeping test plans and documenting test cases
- MUST have prior experience in Web Application Testing
- Experience using automated test tools such as Quick Test Pro (QTP) to perform record and playback of test scripts
- Experience testing for variances amongst browsers
- Familiar with script debugging using browser debugging tools (Ex. Firebug)
- Familiar with bug tracking software such as Squish, Bugzilla, and Jira
- Prior experience in Web Publishing or Social/Community Networking is strongly preferred
- Excellent problem analysis and debugging skills
- Track record of technical and leadership abilities in defining and deploying QA methodologies and tools
