New Community Manager Dave Trager Joins OnlineGURU Inc.
San Diego, Calif. September 26, 2011 -- Today Community Manager Dave Trager joined the team of one of San Diego’s top Web publishing companies OnlineGURU Inc. As the new face of DMV.ORG—OG’s well-known flagship site —Trager will lead the company’s customer service and social media efforts.
Since 2004, Trager has played a large role in online community management for companies in the automotive, fitness, wellness, education and social networking industries. He says his “sheer enthusiasm for people and the potential of rapidly spreading information for the betterment of humanity” is what led him down this particular path. What led OnlineGURU to Trager is his insight into the areas of social trends, strategic social media, community development, brand ambassadorship and relationship building.
DMV.ORG has been a go-to resource for DMV-related info since 1999 when Cofounder and CEO Raj Lahoti first launched the site. He hired Trager to enhance the experience of DMV.ORG’s more than 60 million annual visitors. Much like Lahoti, Trager built his first Web site in his early teens. It wasn’t until he joined his first message board at the age of 15 that Trager began growing his passion for connecting people online.
